Map Book Sample

This sample is created from Geoscience 250K Geodata and provides 1:250,000 mapping over the Australian Capital Territory. It consists of one Index Map and 4 linked map sheets.

Map book features include-
  • GeoToolBar - view coordinates, measure distance and area, import and export KML & shape, GPS tracking
  • Data Attributes - search and query embedded road name details
  • Map Links - linking index and map sheets
  • Adjacency Links - allows panning from one map sheet to adjoining map sheets
  • Spatial Bookmarks - use bookmarks to zoom to a particular location
  • Thematic Maps - display multiple map themes from within one map
  • GeoMark - use the GeoToolBar tools to mark up and export in shape format to allow seamless collaboration.

  • Navigate by zooming in on the area and selecting the map text, or alternatively select the Map bookmark.
  • It is possible to load these files within an Internet browser however extended features are available if viewed within Adobe Reader.
